Abuja, May 26, 2025 – The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has directed telecom operators to inform consumers of major service outages on their networks through media channels. It also directed the operators to state the cause(s) of such service interruption and the affected area(s) as well as the time that would be taken to restore service. The NCC gave the directive in a statement issued by Mrs Nnenna Ukoha, the Acting Head, Public Affairs. Lagos, April 30, 2025 – MTN Nigeria recorded significant improvements in its operation in the first quarter of 2025 with N133.7 billion profit after tax.
