Naira Appreciation: Commission to monitor, investigate price hikes

Abuja, April 17, 2024 -The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) will monitor and investigate unusual hikes in prices of goods and services. NiDCOM to partner USAID on Diaspora engagements

Abuja, April, 17, 2024 – The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has secured a strategic cooperation and collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-NIGERIA) for diaspora engagements. NCAA suspends flight permits of 3 private jets over commercial operations

Abuja, April 16, 2024 – The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has suspended the Permits for Non-Commercial Flights (PNCF) licenses of three private jets for engaging in commercial operations. Captain Chris Najomo, the Acting Director-General of the NCAA, announced the suspension on Tuesday in a video press release posted on the official NCAA X (formerly Twitter) account. Lori, George Schappell, world’s oldest conjoined twins, die at 62

Pennsylvania, April 14, 2024 –  Lori and George Schappell, the world’s oldest living conjoined twins have died. The twins passed away on April 7 of undisclosed causes, according to joint obituaries published by Leibensperger Funeral Homes in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. The Schappell twins were born in Pennsylvania on Sept. 18, 1961. NDLEA arrests pregnant woman, two others with N3.2m fake naira notes

Abuja, April 14, 2024 – The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a commercial bus conveying N3.2million fake naira notes allegedly owned by an eighth-month pregnant woman and two others.
