Corpse disappears from mortuary in Ogun 

Sagamu, Jan. 30, 2023 – The corpse of a woman slated for burial on Saturday is still missing from the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State. NAFDAC to use traceability strategy to check substandard medicines

Lagos, Jan. 30, 2023 – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) will check menace of substandard and falsified medicines in the country through effective implementation of pharmaceutical traceability strategy. NDLEA dismantles drug cartel, arrests 5 leaders

Abuja, Jan 29, 2023 – The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says its operatives have dismantled a trans-border drug cartel and arrested five leaders of the syndicate operating in parts of the world. Container falls off truck, kills 9 in Lagos

Lagos, Jan. 29, 2023 – An articulated truck conveying a 20ft container fell on a commercial bus at Ojuelegba, Lagos, on Sunday killing nine persons. Nigeria lost $6.68bn to flood in 2022

Abuja, Jan. 28, 2023 – Sadiya Farouk, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, said Nigeria lost about $6.68 billion to the 2022 flood in the 36 states of the federation. She said the worst affected states were Jigawa, Rivers, Taraba, Cross River, Delta and Bayelsa. Fire razes Enyo petrol station in Abuja

Abuja, Jan, 27, 2023 – Properties worth millions of naira were lost when the Enyo Petrol Station in Wuse Zone 1 in Abuja caught a fire at about 7.30 pm on Friday. Abuja-Kaduna train derails

Kaduna, Jan. 27, 2023 – The Nigerian  Railway Corporation has suspended the train service along the Abuja-Kaduna corridor due to the derailment of the train at Kubwa in Abuja on Friday.
