Lagos, April 30, 2026 – The Nigerian currency, the naira, appreciated slightly at the official foreign exchange market on Wednesday, closing at N1,365 to the dollar.
The currency had appreciated from N1,383 to the dollar which it closed on Tuesday.
Bid rates offered by dealers in the market on Wednesday ranged between N1,386 and N1,379.4605 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lags at between N1,290 and N1,395 to the dollar.
