Naira depreciates further to N1,383 to dollar at official market Monday

Lagos, June30, 2029 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated further to N1,383.6262 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Monday. The naira exchange rate has been sliding at the market in the last few trading days. CPPE calls for revival of local textile industry, rather than ban on import of textile fabrics

Dangote Refinery imports first crude from UAE

Lagos, June 26, 2026 – The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is importing two cargoes of crude oil from the United Arab Emirates. This is the first time the refinery is importing crude from the Middle East.
