Asaba, Feb. 3, 2023 – An unidentified man was reported to have slumped and died at a bank in Agbor in Delta State on Thursday after standing in a queue for several hours. The incident occurred at a bank in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.  He was said to have slumped and died after waiting for long hours to collect his Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card at the bank. Lagos, Feb. 3, 2023 – The Apongbon Bridge in Lagos will be reopened to traffic in May after the completion of the rehabilitation works. The bridge was destroyed in May 2022 by a fire that burnt all the illegal shops built under it. Umar Bakare, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, announced this in Lagos on Friday. Lagos, Jan. 31, 2023 – Two persons were killed on Tuesday in an accident involving a tanker and four tricycles (Keke Marwa) at Ikotun area of Lagos State The driver of one of the tricycle and a passenger died on the spot, while four other occupants were rescued alive by men of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. Lagos, Jan. 30, 2023(AFP/GBN) – A blast at a mosque inside a police headquarters in Pakistan on Monday killed and wounded worshippers, hospital officials said. The incident happened during afternoon prayers in the northwestern city of Peshawar near the border with Afghanistan. An AFP reporter at the scene saw rescue workers carry two dead bodies away in an ambulance. Abuja, Jan. 30, 2023 – A Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed a suit filed by a former presidential candidate of Hope Democratic Party, Chief Ambrose Owuru, against the election of the President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election. Ondo, Jan. 31, 2023 – Eleven passengers were burnt to death in a road accident which involved a trailer and a Marcopollo bus at Soka Bridge in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Council of Ondo State on Sunday.
