Kaduna, Jan. 27, 2023 – The Nigerian Railway Corporation has suspended the train service along the Abuja-Kaduna corridor due to the derailment of the train at Kubwa in Abuja on Friday. Abuja, Jan 27, 2023 – The Federal Government has extended the deadline for the registration of Digital Money Lenders, otherwise called loan apps in Nigeria, to March 27, 2023. Osogbo, Jan. 27, 2023 – Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, said he rejected the judgment of the Osun election tribunal which sacked him from office on Friday. The Osun Election Petition Tribunal, chaired by Justice Tertse Kume, sacked Adeleke as Osun Governor for established cases ofover voting. Osogbo, Jan. 27, 2023 – The Osun Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. It has declared Gboyega Oyetola as the lawful winner of the Governorship Election held in Osogbo on July 16, 2022. The tribunal said it sacked Adeleke due to over voting in some polling units across the state. Abuja, Jan. 27, 2023 – Nigeria on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Niger Republic on a joint rail project to link Kano in Nigeria to Maradi in Niger Republic.
