Abuja. May 15, 2025 – Nigeria’s inflation rate has dropped to 23.71 percent in April from 24.23 percent in March 2025.
This represented 0.52 percent drop in the inflation rate during the period.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), disclosed this in its April Consumer Price Index released on Thursday.
It reported that food inflation stood at 21.26 percent in April.
The headline inflation rate was lower by 9.99 per cent than the 33.69 percent rate recorded in April 2024.
