Lagos, July 9, 2026 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated further to N1,379.0675 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Wednesday.
The currency had depreciated from N1,368.2664 to the dollar on Monday to N1,375.7463 on Tuesday.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market on Wednesday ranged between N1,387 and N1,379.0675 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being exchanged at between N1,410 and N1,415 to dollar at the black market in Lagos.
