FAAC shares N2.094trn monthly allocation to FG, states, LGs

 

Abuja, Nov. 20, 2025 – The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared N2.094 trillion among the three tiers of government as their monthly allocations

Bawa Mokwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, disclosed this in a statement.

The statement said that the allocations were released after the FAAC meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to the communiqué of the committee, total gross revenue collected in October was N2.934 trillion from which N2.094 trillion was deducted as distributable revenue.

The sum of N115.278 billion was also deducted as the cost of collection, while N724.603 billion was deducted for transfers, interventions, refunds and savings.

The N2.094 trillion distributed revenue comprised N1.376tn statutory revenue, N670.303 billion from Value Added Tax, and N47.870bn from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy.

From the N2.094 trillion distributable revenue, the federal government was allocated N758.405 billion, while the states got N689.12 billion.

The local governments received N505.803 billion, while N141.359 billion was shared among oil-producing states as mineral revenue derivation allocation.
