Lagos, Aug. 7, 2026 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated further to N1, 362.5542 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday.
The naira depreciated from N1, 364.8344to the dollar on Wednesday.
The currency has been sliding at the market in the last two trading days when it was N1, 362.5542 to the dollar.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market ranged from N1, 364.70 and N1, 362.5542 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos between N1, 410 and N1, 420 to the dollar.
