Instabul, April 14, 2023 – Nigerian-born Italian up-and-coming volleyball star, Julia Ituma, has died after a suspected fall from a hotel room window in Turkey following her team’s, Novara, defeat to Turkish side Eczacibas in the Champions League semi-final. Abakaliki, April 11, 2023 – Twelve persons, mostly women, died in a motor accident along the Ezillo axis of the Enugu/Abakaliki expressway on Tuesday in Ebonyi. The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) confirmed the accident. According to its Sector Commander in Ebonyi, Uche Chukwurah, the accident involved a shuttle bus and truck.
