APC suspends Danjuma Goje from party

Gombe, April 18, 2023 – Sen. Danjuma Goje has been suspended from the All Progressives Party (APC). His suspension was announced on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting of the Kashere Ward Executives. The Ward Chairman, Taminu Abdullahi, said the suspension was in line with article 21 subsection (1), (2) and (3) of the party constitution, as amended. INEC postpones collation of Adamawa election indefinitely

Abuja, April 18, 2023 – The announcement of the result of Adamawa Supplementary election will wait longer as INEC has postponed the collation of the result till further notice. The commission announced this on Tuesday after an emergency meeting with its National Commissioners in Abuja. Instabul, April 14, 2023 – Nigerian-born Italian up-and-coming volleyball star, Julia Ituma, has died after a suspected fall from a hotel room window in Turkey following her team’s, Novara, defeat to Turkish side Eczacibas in the Champions League semi-final. 12 persons died in auto crash on Enugu/Abakaliki expressway

Abakaliki, April 11, 2023 – Twelve persons, mostly women, died in a motor accident along the Ezillo axis of the Enugu/Abakaliki expressway on Tuesday in Ebonyi. The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) confirmed the accident. According to its Sector Commander in Ebonyi, Uche Chukwurah, the accident involved a shuttle bus and truck.
