Abuja, April 9, 2024 – Active mobile subscriptions in Nigeria rose to 219.7 million at the end of February 2024, according to the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC). The figure was 224.4 million in December 2023, but plunged to 218 million in January 2024 due to NCC directive on NIN-SIM linkage when about six million lines were lost by operators.
