Abuja, March 7, 2025 – Nigeria’s electricity generation has reached a peaked of 5,801 megawatts (MWh) and a maximum daily energy generation of 128,370.75 megawatt-hours (MWh) The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) disclosed this in a statement on Thursday. Lagos, March 6, 2025 – Some men in military uniform were alleged to have stormed the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company in Lagos on Thursday morning. Sources said the men stormed the office, opposite MITV in Ikeja, Lagos, at about 7.00 am and manhandled some officials of the company. The invaders did not give reasons for their action, but some said the action was not unconnected with poor power supply.  (GBN)
