Abuja, Jan. 12, 2023 – Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of Central Bank Governor, returned to the country on Wednesday after his vacation abroad. CBN sources confirmed that Emefiele returned to Nigeria on Wednesday and would be in the office today. Trinidad and Tobago, Jan. 12, 2023 – A London woman, Nadia Joseph-Gosine, died on the morning of her wedding to her fiancé in Trinidad and Tobago. Nadia, 33, was said to have died on December 7, 2022. The cause of her death was attributed to a liver disease not known to her fiancé. Katsina, Jan. 12, 2023 – Three teenagers, who kidnapped a six-year-old girl in Kano and demanded two million naira as ransom for her release, have been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command. SP Gambo Isah, the spokesperson for the Command, said this in Katsina on Wednesday evening. He gave the names of the three suspects, who were all 19 years old, as Abdulrazaq Ibrahim, Aliyu Salisu and Muhammed Ibrahim.
