Access Bank gets approval to acquire 51% stake in Angolan Bank

Lagos, May 3, 2023 – Access Holding says its subsidiary, Access Bank, has received the approval of Central Bank of Angola to acquire the 51 per cent shares belonging to majority shareholders of Finibanco Angola S.A. SEC blacklists 6 illegal online trading platforms

Lagos, May 2, 2023 – The Securities and Exchange Commission has blacklisted six illegal online trading platforms and warned Nigerians against dealing with them. NGX traded N59bn worth of shares last week

Lagos, May 1, 2023 – A total of 14.029 billion shares worth N59.007 billion were traded in 24,048 deals by investors on the floor of Nigerian Exchange (NGX) last week. These were in contrast to the 3.920 billion shares valued at N15.620 billion that exchanged hands in the preceding week.  The Conglomerates Industry, measured by volume, led the activity chart with 11.399 billion shares valued at N30.990 billion traded in 2,310 deals. UK’s inflation rate at 10.1%, the highest in Europe

AMCON acquires Glano over N2bn debt

Abuja, April 17, 2023 – AMCON has acquired assets of Glano Nigeria Limited in the bid to recover over N2 billion debt. Th acquisition followed the order of Justice I. N.
