NAHCO begins export of raw Nigerian foods abroad  

Lagos, May 13, 2023 – The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (nahco aviance),  a ground handling service provider at Nigerian airports, has started exporting raw Nigerian foods abroad. The food export business is being done by its new subsidiary, NAHCO Food and Beverages Limited. It started with the exportation of fresh pepper after obtaining the necessary regulatory certification and approval from the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) and with due consultation with foreign food standards agencies. Lagos, May 11, 2023 – A total of 477.37 shares worth N5.24 billion were traded in 5,24 deals on the Nigerian Exchange on Thursday. The All-Share Index dropped by -0.09% to close at 52,161.24 from the 52,209.06 recorded on Wednesday. The market capitalization also depreciated by -0.09% to close at N28.402 trillion from the N28.428 trillion recorded on Wednesday. Abuja, May 11, 2023 – Ben Akabueze, the Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation, says the country is borrowing more than its capacity to repay. Lagos, May 8, 2023 – A total of 2.973 billion shares worth N22.828 billion were traded in 23,765 deals on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) last week. This was in contrast to the 14.029 billion shares valued at N59.007 billion exchanged in 24,048 deals in the preceding week. The Financial Services Industry, measured by volume, led the activity chart with 1.458 billion shares valued at N14.082 billion traded in 13,115 deals.
