Abuja, April 16, 2025 – The Federal House of Reorientates has invited Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.), the Sole Administrator of Rivers State to appear before it on Thursday for an interactive session.
The House Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight, extended the invitation to the sole administrator.
The meeting is hold by 4:00pm at Room 414 in the House of Representatives New Building in Abuja.
Akin Rotimi, the Spokesman for the House, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
The invitation was extended to the sole administrator after the inauguration of a 21-member Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State chaired by the House Leader, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen on Tuesday.
Ihonvbere said the engagement was necessary to ascertain the true state of affairs in Rivers State and ensure that the House remains properly guided in the discharge of its oversight responsibilities in the public interest.
