INEC suffered 50 attacks on its offices nationwide – official

Abuja, Jan. 18, 2023 – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has suffered 50 attacks on its offices across the country between 2019 and 2022. It said 11 of these attacks were in Imo State alone. Kano, Jan. 18, 2023 – Free Trade Zones (FTZ) in Nigeria have attracted over $30 billion in investments. London, Jan. 17, 2023 (NAN) The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct mock accreditation nationwide ahead of the 2023 general elections. 32-yr-old sentenced to death for robbing nurse of N57,000

Lagos, Jan. 17, 2023 – An Ikeja Special Offences Court presided over by Justice Mojisola Dada on Tuesday sentenced a 32-year-old vulcaniser, Chidozie Onyinchiz, to death by hanging for robbing a nurse of N57,000. Justice Dada held that the prosecution had proved the three-count-charge of conspiracy, armed robbery and membership of an unlawful society against Onyinchiz.
