Lagos, Dec. 19, 2022 – Nigeria and a US firm have signed agreements on clean and reliable electricity on the sidelines of the ongoing US-Africa Leadership Summit. Doyin Okupe jailed for two and half years

Abuja, Dec. 19, 2022 – Doyin Okupe, the Director-General of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, has been sentenced to two and half years imprisonment for money laundering. Okupe had earlier on Monday been convicted by a Federal High Court in Abuja. Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, the Presiding Judge,  had found Okupe guilty of contravening some sections of the Money Laundering Act and accepting cash in excess of the threshold allowed under the Act without going through a financial institution. Cattle breeders call for financial support from FG

Abuja, Dec. 19, 2022 – Cattle breeders in Nigeria have called on Federal Government to give them financial support as done to other businesses in the country. Abuja, Dec. 19, 2022 – A Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday convicted Doyin Okupe, the Director-General of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, for money laundering. Okupe was a former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Goodluck Jonathan, He is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering and criminal breach of trust of about N702 million. 28 killed in separate attacks on Kaduna communities

Kaduna, Dec. 19, 2022 – More than 28 people were reportedly killed in separate attacks in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday night.
