INEC suspends Adamawa REC from office
Abuja, April 17, 2023 Yusuf Hudu Ari, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State, has been suspended from office. He was allegedly suspended for usurpation of powers by announcing unauthorized result of last Saturday’s Supplementary Election in the state. His suspension letter tttled: ‘Commission’s Directive to stay away from INEC, Adamawa State’ was signed by Mrs. Rose Oriaran-Anthony, Secretary to the Commission (INEC). NAFDAC grants registration approval to malaria vaccine
Abuja, April 17, 2023 – NAFDAC has granted registration approval to R21 Malaria Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) manufactured by Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. (SIIPL). Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, the NAFDAC Director General, announced this at a press briefing on Monday. She said the approval was made by the Agency in the exercise of its mandate as stipulated in its enabling law, NAFDAC Act CapN1, LFN 2004. Owerri, April 17, 2023 – Akarachi Amadi, a 29-year- old candidate of the APC has won the supplementary election for the Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency in Imo State. Research: Covenant University partners OBTranslate
Lagos, April 17, 2023 – The Covenant University in Nigeria says it is partnering with OBTranslate in research and development activities in broad range of areas.
