The Gambia, Africa50 sign management agreement on Senegambia Bridge
Banjul, Oct.3, 2023 – The Gambia and Africa50 have signed a shareholders’ agreement to allow Africa50 manage and operate the Senegambia Bridge. The agreement allows a newly created special purpose vehicle, Transgambia Bridge Company Ltd, to operate and maintain the Senegambia Bridge, under Africa50’s Asset Recycling Programme. Oil falls over $1 on demand fears, Saudi confirms cuts to year-end
London, Oct, 4, 2023 – Oil fell on Wednesday as pledges by Saudi Arabia and Russia to continue crude output cuts to the end of 2023 were offset by demand fears stemming from macroeconomic headwinds. Brent crude oil futures were down $1.51, or 1.66%, to $89.41 a barrel at 1206 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude (WTI) fell $1.59, or 1.78%, to $87.64 per barrel. Tinubu sends 3 additional ministerial nominees to Senate
Abuja, Oct. 3, 2023 – President Bola Tinubu on Monday sent the names of three additional nominees for ministerial appointment to the Senate for approval. 30 persons feared dead in boat accident
Yauri, Oct. 3, 2023 – About 30 persons were feared dead on Monday as a boat capsized in a river in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State. NDIC declares N16.18bn liquidation dividends

Afreximbank signs $300m loan agreement with Trident OGX Congo
Brazzaville, Oct. 3, 2023 –The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has signed an agreement to provide a $300 million facility to Trident OGX Congo in a transaction expected to raise the Republic of Congo’s crude oil production by an estimated 30 per cent.
