Mohbad’s corpse exhumed – Police
Lagos, Sept. 12, 2023 – The corpse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been exhumed. Lagos State Police Command, which confirmed this, also said it had arrested the nurse who allegedly injected the deceased singer. MPC postpones bimonthly meeting
Lagos, Sept. 21, 2023 – The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has postponed its 293rd meeting scheduled for Monday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 25. This postponement was announced by the CBN Director of Communications, Dr Isa AndulMumin. and 26, 2023, respectively. CBN unveils portal for submission of microfinance bank applications
Lagos, Sept. 21, 2023 – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has unveiled a new online platform for submission of microfinance bank (MFB) licence applications. The platform is known as the CBN Licensing, Approval and Other Requests Portal (CBN LARP). The new online platform will eventually replace the current manual process wherein prospective applicants for MFB licence physically submit their applications to the CBN.
