NNPCL reduces petrol price to N910 per litre

Abuja, May 14, 2025 – The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the price of its petrol to N910 per litre in Abuja.

The price was N935 per litre before the new price adjustment announced for NNPC retail outlets in Abuja, although the price remains unchanged in Lagos area.

Recall that Dangote Refinery had, earlier this week, reduced its price to ₦825 per litre.

The new development has further widened price disparities between the two giants in the market.

This development has put to lie the promise made by NNPCL and Dangote to work together when Aliko Dangote, the Chief Executive of Dangote Group, met with Bashir Ojulari, the new NNPCL Group Managing Director, last week.
