Lagos, Aug. 25, 2025 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, is being traded between N1,545 and N1,550 to the dollar at the black market in Lagos on Monday.
The dollar is being sold to traders at N1,545, while the buying rate is N1,550 to the dollar.
The rates have been relatively stable in the market in the last few days.
Meanwhile, the naira closed at N1,535 to the dollar at the official segment of the foreign exchange market on Friday.
It had appreciated from N1,537.99 to the dollar on Thursday.
Bid rates at the market ranged between N1,538 and N1,535.25 to the dollar at the official market on Friday..
