Lagos, Dec. 16, 2025 – The Nigerian currency, the Naira, appreciated to N1,454 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Monday.
The currency gained N1,50 to the dollar at the market from N1,455.50 which it closed on Friday.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market ranged between N1,450 and N1,455 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos at between N1,480 and N1, 490 to the dollar.
