Lagos, Aug. 22, 2025 – The Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated slightly against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, closing at N1,535.51 to the dollar.
The naira exchange rate at the market on Wednesday was N1,537.99 to the dollar.
The highest bid rate at the market on Thursday was N1,538 to the dollar, while the lowest was N1,535.25 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira exchange rate at the black market is between N1, 540 and N1, 545 to the dollar.
