DMO to raise N1.2trn through 3 FGN Bonds in July

Abuja, July 15, 3026 -The Debt Management Office (DMO) is to raise ₦1.2 trillion through three FGN Bonds in July 2026.

According to the Offer Circular issued on July 14, 2026, , the July auction will involve reopening of three FGN bonds worth ₦400 billion each on July 20, 2026 with settlement date scheduled for July 22, 2026.

 The five -year re-opening (April 2029) is being offered at 19.30%, the seven-year re-opening (February 2031) will be offered at 18.50%, while the DMO will announce the offer rate for the 10-year re-opening (June 2033)  at the auction.

The bonds are being offered at N1,000 per unit with a minimum subscription of N50,000 and in multiples of N1,000 thereafter.

These bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the Federal Government of Nigeria, qualifying as trustee investments and boasting tax-exempt advantages under the Company Income and Personal Income Tax Acts.
