Abuja, Oct. 4, 2023 – Balarabe Abbas Lawal, a ministerial nominee from Kaduna State, collapsed before Senators on Wednesday during his screening process.
President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, sent additional three nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
Balarabe, who was the second nominee to be screened after Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim, collapsed barely 15 minutes into his screening.
He was revived later, but it is doubtful if the screening was continued as journalists were ordered out of the meeting. (GBN)
