FAAN reopens D terminal at Murtala Mohammed International Airport

Lagos, Sept. 18, 2023 – The D Wing of the old international terminal at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, has been reopened by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAAN).

The terminal was closed to allow for renovation.

FAAN said that the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, directed the reopening of the terminal to complement operations at the new international terminal.

A statement on issued on Monday by Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua, FAAN Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, said the reopening of the terminal emphasized government’s commitment to enhancing the aviation sector and ensuring that passengers have a seamless travel experience.

The statement read in part: “This is to inform  the travelling public that the Hon. Minister of Aviation, Mr Festus Keyamo SAN, CON, FCIArb  has  graciously allowed the use of the D Wing  of the Old Murtala Muhammed International terminal to compliment the New International Terminal to ease facilitation of passengers through the airport.” (GBN)
