Akure, Jan. 13, 2025 – The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSAA) has opened a payment window for political campaign permits for political aspirants to deploy any form of campaign materials within Ondo State.
The Agency announced this in a statement signed by Yòmí Oyékàn, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Signage and Advertisement
It specifically listed affected politicians as Senatorial aspirants, House of Representatives aspirants, and House of Assembly aspirants.
According to the statement, all political aspirants are strictly directed to approach the Agency to obtain the required permits and make full payment before the erection, installation, display, or circulation of any campaign signage or visual campaign materials anywhere within the State.
The approved permit fees are as follows:
- Senatorial Aspirants: ₦2,000,000
- House of Representatives Aspirants: ₦1,500,000
- House of Assembly Aspirants: ₦1,000,000
It said aspirants or political groups were not permitted to deploy campaign materials without full payment and express approval of the Agency.
“Any material deployed without authorization shall be removed immediately, and the defaulter shall face sanctions in line with existing regulations.
“Additionally, full campaign building branding, including wall wraps, façade branding, and total building takeovers, is subject to compulsory evaluation, inspection, and written approval by officials of the Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency prior to deployment. Unauthorized building branding will not be tolerated.
“All payments must be made directly into the designated government account stated below:

- Account Number: 1629479154
- Account Name: Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Administrative Charges Account
“Proof of payment must be presented to the Agency for verification and issuance of the appropriate permit before any deployment is allowed, the statement said.
The Agency said it would commence monitoring and enforcement across the state, and advised all stakeholders to comply fully.
