Lagos, Dec. 21, 2021 – Chief Emeka Anyaoku, a former Commonwealth Secretary General, has sent felicitations to President Mohamadu Buhari on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
In his congratulatory message to the President, Anyaoku thanked God for Buhari’s long life and wished him many more years of good health and happiness.
“Please accept my warmest felicitations on your 80th birthday.
“History will record your remarkable feat of twice leading our country as a military Head of State and a twice democratically elected President with a truly outstanding patriotism and dedication to the service of our country, our compatriots and humanity.
“We celebrate you and thank The Almighty for your life and pray to Him to grant you many more years of good health and happiness,” he said.
Chief Emeka Anyaoku, a Nigerian, was the Commonwealth Secretary-General between 2000 and 2010. (GBN)
