Ibadan, Jan. 16, 2024 -Dr. Aminu Maida, the Chief Executive of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), on Monday paid an official visit to the NCC Office in Ibadan, Oyo state.
This was part of his familiarisation tour to the Zonal offices of NCC across the country.
While addressing the staff, Maida promised to create optimal value for the human assets of the Commission.
He also said the Commission’s decisions and regulatory services will be data-driven going forward.
“Data would drive the work that we do. It would help us to know what the issues are, especially from a consumer perspective, and thus provide us a guide on where and how we should intervene,” he said.
Maida also said the NCC would meticulously drive compliance under his watch, stressing that licensees who signed agreements with the Commission must be held accountable for the terms that they had signed unto.
Maida was appointed the Executive Vice-Chairman/ Chief Executive of NCC in October 2023. (GBN)
