Abuja, Dec. 18, 2024 – President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday said the 2025 federal budget would usher in a new dawn for the nation.
He said this in a post on his official X handle immediately after he presented the 2025 budget to the National Assembly.
He urged all Nigerians to be optimistic about the prospects of 2025 as a new day had dawned for the nation.
He wrote: “The time for lamentation is over. The time to act is now.
“A time to support and promote greater investments in the private sector. A time for our civil servants to faithfully execute our policies and programmes. It is a time for every Nigerian to look hopefully towards a brighter future because a new day has dawned on us as a nation.
“As your President, I remain committed and resolute to continue to lead the charge.
“This 2025 budget proposal lays the foundation for peace, prosperity, and much-needed hope. It is the plan through which a Nigeria where every citizen can dream, work, and thrive in safety can be achieved.” (GBN)
