Bauchi, May 12, 2023 – Eight persons were killed, while seven others were injured in a road accident which occurred at Kili village on the Darazo-Kari federal highway on Thursday midnight. Dangote gifts N100,000 to each of Sudan returnees

Fire guts Alaba Market in Lagos

Lagos, May 5, 2023 – The Alaba International Market in Lagos was razed by a fire on Friday with goods worth millions of naira burnt in the inferno. Lagos, May 5, 2023 – The Old Bailey court in London has sentenced Ike Ekweremadu, former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, to nine years and eight months in prison for organ trafficking plot. Ekweremadu, who was convicted for organ harvesting by the court last month , was sentenced on Friday.
