Kano, March 17, 2025 – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Murja Ibrahim Kunya, a TikTok influencer, in Kano over alleged naira abuse. She was alleged to have sprayed naira notes. Abuja, March 16, 2025 – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission recovered over N365.4 billion and secured 4,111 convictions in 2024. Lagos, March 16, 2025 – The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a law suit against Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, form his failure to reverse the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from the National Assembly. Abuja, March 14, 2025 – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) says it has uncovered a syndicate defrauding foreign companies in Nigeria using fake NAFDAC documents. Washington, March 13, 2025 – A US immigration detention center has reached full capacity with 47,600 detainees, according to a senior ICE official on a call with reporters on March 12.
