Kano, March 17, 2025 – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Murja Ibrahim Kunya, a TikTok influencer, in Kano over alleged naira abuse.
She was alleged to have sprayed naira notes.
Impeccable source confirmed the arrest of Kunya in Kano at the weekend, adding that the EFCC had commenced investigation into her alleged activities..
“The investigation is ongoing, and once completed, she will be charged in court for prosecution,” the source said.
The EFCC is said have also arrested other TikTok influencers like Al’amin G-Fresh and Ashir Idris, on similar charges.
