OPEC grants Nigeria concession to produce oil maximally in 2023, 2024

Vienna, June 4, 2023 – Nigeria’s prospect for high crude oil production improved on Sunday has OPEC and non-OPEC members have agreed to allow Nigeria to continue producing maximally to meet its OPEC quota in 2023. Tinubu must probe missing $2.1 billion, N3.1 oil funds – SERAP

Abuja, June 4, 2023 -The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has advised President Bola Tinubu to probe the missing $2.1 billion and N3.1 trillion oil revenue and funds budgeted for petrol subsidy payments between 2016 and 2019. SERAP said the Auditor-General of the Federation had documents on these funds missing during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
