Port Harcourt, Jan. 27, 2023 – The Nigeria Customs Service in Onne generated N242 billion as revenue in the 2022. Its Comptroller, Auwal Muhammad, said this on Thursday while handing over to the newly deployed comptroller, Baba Imam. Lagos, Jan. 25, 2023 – The five primary lenders in the disbursement of the $350 million Caboge Fund have been given 72 hours to draw up modalities for the disbursement of the fund. Bashir Jamoh, the Director-general of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), gave the directive to the banks at a meeting in Lagos on Tuesday. Lagos, Jan. 24, 2023 – The Lekki Deep Sea Port will contribute over $361 billion to the Nigerian economy within the next 45 years. The port was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday as part of his activities during his two-day official tour of Lagos State. It is the first deep sea port in Nigeria and will have a concession term of 45 years.
