Lagos, Feb. 18, 2023 – Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu, has been found dead in the earthquake rubble in Turkey. His manager, Murat Uzunmehmet, told DHA News Agency on Saturday that his body had been found under the rubble in the Turkish southern province of Hatay.  “We have reached his lifeless body. Abuja, Feb. 18, 2023 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said it had created additional 56,872 polling units as a way of making the voting process easier for Nigerians. It said the new polling were also created across the country to decongest over populated ones. Gusau, Feb. 18, 2023 – The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old boy for allegedly conniving with five others to abduct his mother and three others and collecting N30 million as ransom. SP Mohammed Shehu, the State Police Spokesperson, disclosed this to journalists in Gusau on Friday. Lagos, Feb. 17, 2023 -The UN has launched a $1 billion appeal for Turkey to assist more than five million people affected by earthquakes, the largest to hit the country in a century.
