Ghana increases public servants’ salaries by 30%

Accra, Jan. 14, 2023 – The Ghanaian government has agreed with trade unions to increase the salaries of all public servants by 30 per cent from 2023. This was disclosed in a joint statement as Ghana struggles to reduce debt and tackle rampant inflation. Akure, Jan. 13, 2023 – An Ondo High Court has granted a ganishee order directing the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) to freeze the account of Polaris Bank over a judgment debt of over N2 billion. Lagos, Jan. 13, 2023 – About 30 million certificate holders who wrote the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) from 1970 can now access and share the original copies of their digital certificates from anywhere in the world. BoI receives 1m applications for NG-CARES MSME grants

Lagos, Jan.13, 2023 – The Bank of Industry (BoI) on Friday said it had received over one million applications for the NG-CARES MSME grants across the states. The NG-CARES is an initiative of the World Bank and the Federal Government to support the recovery of communities, households, and businesses affected by COVID-19.
