Abuja, March 15, 2023 – The 2023 Population and Housing Census has been postponed till May. It was earlier scheduled for March 29. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed, announced this on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council (FEC). He said the postponement of the census was due to the rescheduling of the Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections to March 18. The Federal Government has approved N2.8 billion for the conduct of the census. (GBN)

Abuja, March 14, 2023 – The Nigeria Police said that it recovered at least 182 sophisticated arms and 430 ammunition of various calibres in the last one month. CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police Spokesman, said in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday. Abeokuta, March 14, 2023 – Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the death of 50-year old landlord who was allegedly killed by a woman tenant, Ifeoma Ossai, by grabbing and dragging his manhood during a disagreement.
