FG postpones census till May

Abuja, March 15, 2023 – The 2023 Population and Housing Census has been postponed till May. It was earlier scheduled for March 29. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed, announced this on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council (FEC). He said the postponement of the census was due to the rescheduling of the Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections to March 18. Nigeria Police recovered 182 arms,430 ammunition in one month

Abuja, March 14, 2023 – The Nigeria Police said that it recovered at least 182 sophisticated arms and 430 ammunition of various calibres in the last one month. CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police Spokesman, said in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday.
