Lagos, Dec. 12, 2022 – The Imo State Police Command on Monday said three gunmen were killed in the early hours of the day when gunmen attacked the INEC headquarters in Owerri. The Command Spokesperson, Michael Abattam, told journalists that a policeman was killed during the incident, while another officer was injured. Joe Komolafe, the Commander of Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, says the corps arrested 79 suspected kidnappers and settled 63 farmer-herder cases since it was established.
