ECOWAS imposes more sanctions on Niger

Abuja, Aug. 8, 2023 – ECOWAS has imposed further sanctions on Niger Republic following the coup leaders’ refusal to abide by its ultimatum. CPPE warns ECOWAS against military action in Niger Republic

Nigeria has highest unemployment rate globally

Lagos, Aug. 2O23 – Nigeria has the highest rate of unemployment in the world, according to the World of Statistics. The report, published on World of Statistics’ official Twitter handle, said Nigeria recorded the highest unemployment rate of 33.3 per cent. It listed South Africa as the second, coming after Nigeria with a 32.9 per cent, while Qatar has the lowest unemployment rate of 0.1 per cent. Abuja, Aug, 7, 2023 -The Senate has confirmed 45 of the 48 ministerial nominations sent by the President Tinubu. According to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, the confirmation of the remaining three is being delayed by security reports on them.
