Tinubu inaugurates NNPCL Board

Abuja, May 22, 2025 – President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the newly constituted 11-man board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL)

The inauguration was held on Thursday at the State House, Abuja.

 Government officials at the ceremony included Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and coordinating Minister of the Economy; Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation; and Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum.

The new board is being headed by Bashir Bayo Ojulari as the Chief Executive, while Ahmadu Musa is the non-Executive Chairman.

The non-Executive Directors are Kid Austin Avuru,  David Ige and Henry Obih.

Others are Adedapo Segun, Bello Rabiu, Yusuf Usman, and Babs Omotowa.

Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya, the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance, is to represent the ministry on the board, while Aminu Said Ahmed will represent the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
