Abuja, Jan. 30, 2023 – A Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed a suit filed by a former presidential candidate of Hope Democratic Party, Chief Ambrose Owuru, against the election of the President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election. 11 passengers burnt to death in accident

Ondo, Jan. 31, 2023 – Eleven passengers were burnt to death in a road accident which involved a trailer and a Marcopollo bus at Soka Bridge in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Council of Ondo State on Sunday. All the victims were passengers in the Marcopollo bus.  According to an eyewitness, the accident was caused by the truck driver who drove against traffic while on speed. Corpse disappears from mortuary in Ogun 

Sagamu, Jan. 30, 2023 – The corpse of a woman slated for burial on Saturday is still missing from the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State. NGX traded N13.653bn worth of shares last week

Lagos, Jan. 30, 2023 – A total turnover of 756.769 million shares worth N13.653 billion were traded in 18,248 deals last week by investors on the floor of the Exchange. Container falls off truck, kills 9 in Lagos

Lagos, Jan. 29, 2023 – An articulated truck conveying a 20ft container fell on a commercial bus at Ojuelegba, Lagos, on Sunday killing nine persons. CBN extends deadline on expiration of old notes

Abuja, Jan. 29, 2023 – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has extended the deadline on the expiration of the old naira notes to Feb. 10, 2023. The apex bank said this in a statement on Sunday that the decision was taken at a meeting with President Mohamadu Buhari on Sunday morning.
