Lagos, Sept. 27, 2023 – The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) has declared the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA as the best federal government agency in digital transformation. The BPSR also announced that the nomination of Bashir Jamoh, the Director-General of NIMASA, for GovTech Trailblazers award for providing exemplary leadership. IPPIS payroll: Association assures delisted workers of redress
Abuja, Sept. 27, 2023 -The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) on Wednesday assured the 17,000 federal government employees who were delisted from the IPPIS payroll of redress. A letter addressed to Falana and Falana Chambers dated Sept 26 and signed by a coroner, Magistrate Taofikat Shotobi, gave the indication. Senate confirms Cardoso as CBN Gov., 4 deputies
Abuja, Sept. 26, 2023 – The Senate on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of Olayemi Cardoso as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Cardoso was screened alongside his four deputy governor-nominees whose appointments were equally confirmed. The deputy governors are Emem Nana Usoro, Muhammed Sani Dattijo, Phillip Ikeazor and Bala Bello. Abuja, Sept. 26, 2023 – The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress, (TUC) on Tuesday announced an indefinite strike to commence on October 3.
