Oil drops again as US offers memo to Iran in bid to open Strait

Global crude oil reserves plunge 200m barrels in aftermath of Middle East war

London, May 6, 2026 – Global crude inventories are shrinking at a rapid pace in the aftermath of the Middle East war, stoking warnings that oil prices could surge again ahead of the summer travel season.
