Gov Udom presents 2 aircraft to Ibom Air

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has presented two aircraft to Ibom Air to drive the ongoing expansion of the airline’s operations. The two Airbus A320-200 were said to have been procured from GetJet Airlines UAB (operating as GETJET), a European aircraft leasing company, on a one-year wet-lease agreement. Abuja, Nov. 23,2023 – The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared N736.782 billion from the October 2022 Federation Account Revenue to the federal government, states and local government councils. Buhari unveils new naira notes

Abuja, Nov. 23, 2022 – President Muhammadu Buhari today unveiled the new naira notes as proposed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. He unveiled the new currency notes  at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House, Abuja. Afreximbank and DB renew partnership for development of African railways

Court orders INEC to resume voter registration

Abuja, Nov 22, 2021 A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to immediately resume the Continuous Voters Registration until 90 days before the 2023 general elections. Justice Inyang Ekwo, in the judgment, also directed INEC to ensure that eligible Nigerians were not deprived of the opportunity to have their voter card for the forthcoming poll.
