Lagos, Dec. 13, 2022 – The Federal Government has directed relevant authorities to allow Nigerians abroad returning home with expired passports easy passage. Lagos, Dec, 12, 2022 – Mr Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, is to appear before the House of Representatives on Thursday. The house summoned the CBN last week following the debates on the new cash policy which set withdrawal limits for individuals at N100,000 a week and N500,000 for companies a week. Lagos, Dec. 12, 2022 – Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, says his tweet condemning the murder of Deborah Samuel, a student who was allegedly lynched for blasphemy in Sokoto, was deleted because he did not approve of it. Singapore/London, Dec 12, 2022 (Reuters/NAN) – Oil prices fell on Monday deepening a multi-week decline as a weakening global economy offset supply woes stemming from the closure of a key pipeline supplying the United States and Russian threats of a production cut. 3 gunmen killed while raiding INEC office in Owerri

Lagos, Dec. 12, 2022 – The Imo State Police Command on Monday said three gunmen were killed in the early hours of the day when gunmen attacked the INEC headquarters in Owerri. The Command Spokesperson, Michael Abattam, told journalists that a policeman was killed during the incident, while another officer was injured.
