Afreximbank, U.S EXIM sign a US$500 million MoU
Washington DC (U.S.), Dec. 20. 2022 – African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (U.S. EXIM) to enhance trade between Africa and the United States of America. Fake LASMA officer sentenced to four months imprisonment
David Oluchukwu, a fake officer of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, has been sentenced to four months imprisonment for impersonation and extortion. The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Mobile Court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi, sentenced him on Monday. Abuja, Dec. 20, 2022 – Dr Doyin Okupe, the Director General of 2023 Presidential Campaign Council of Labour Party, was allowed home on Monday after payment of the prescribed fines. Nigeria signs agreement with U.S. firm on renewable energy
Lagos, Dec. 19, 2022 – Nigeria and a US firm have signed agreements on clean and reliable electricity on the sidelines of the ongoing US-Africa Leadership Summit. Doyin Okupe jailed for two and half years
Abuja, Dec. 19, 2022 – Doyin Okupe, the Director-General of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, has been sentenced to two and half years imprisonment for money laundering. Okupe had earlier on Monday been convicted by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
